Your registration fee for the race* will cover one night of shelter and services for someone who would otherwise spend the night in the cold, on the streets. February 17, 2024 at 8:30 AM Pemberton Place Greenspace ( virtual option available ) The in-person race is one of the last Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifiers before registration opens for the 2024 AJC Peachtree Road Race. The course is USATF Certified (GA17079WC). Atlanta Mission empowers those experiencing homelessness in Atlanta. We are the city’s largest and longest-running provider of services to homeless men, women, and children, operating four shelter campuses in Metro Atlanta and Northeast Georgia. And to take it a step further, we’re making this a fundraising challenge called Miles for Hope! Each race participant who raises $250 or $500 through their individual fundraising page (not team page) will receive exclusive 5K merch as a thank you for the support. Why fundraise? Fundraising is not just a one-time event. The collective impact made through fundraising goes far beyond the race. Each dollar raised is a beacon of light for our vulnerable neighbors who are struggling this winter season.
